I forgot that I had an Easy Macro macro lens. I bought it from Photojojo the same time that I bought the polarizer lens, (a different) macro lens, and a telephoto lens for mobile phones.

100 Days of Black and White Photos: Day 3
A view of the sunset from my window. I have to say before moving out here, I don't think I saw the sky much. To clarify, in NYC, the roads are narrow (with the exception of main roads and highways) and the building are tall. If you are in Manhattan you probably get to see 10% of the sky when looking up. The rest is all buildings and scaffolding. NYC is also fairly flat so you get to see a lot of vanishing points. Out here, the city is very hilly. If there was a word that meant bigger than a hill but not a mountain, I would use it here, because these don't feel like hills.

100 Days of Black and White Photos: Day 2
This is Danboard. I've wanted one of these for close to 7 years and I finally bought one. It was shipped from China, so it took close to 2 weeks to get to me. She will probably be a model in most of my shots.

100 Days Challenge: Black & White Photos
One hundred days is about three months and a two weeks. That is how long I am going to try to upload a black & white photo everyday. I decided to try the 100 days challenge. I'm not good with these challenges. For years I've tried the 365 days, 52 weeks and 30 days challenges. I failed them all, until this year. Earlier this year, I tried a 30 days book challenge. I fell behind a couple of times and had to catch up, but it was the first time I finished one. So now it is time to level up.
I choose to upload a black and white photo for 100 days because I want to learn more about light. When shooting in black and white, you tend to care more about the composition than colors and filter effects. I want to learn how the red, blue and green channels effects the contrast of the photos. There is so much to learn and I'm going to try to pack it all into 100 days.
My photos will probably start off looking like shit and hopefully they will get better toward the end, but I'm focusing more on learning about light, than posting amazing photos.

Redbubble Hardcover Journals
Between Redbubble, Society6 and Nuvango, I think they are all trying to make me go broke. A few months ago, I bought laptops skins for my home and work computer from Nuvango. I've been favoriting a bunch of the art work on all the sites. In the last 6-12 months, all three of these sites have added more products to their catalogs. One of the best things about these sites is that they are supporting artist. They are giving artists ways to sell their work using quality material.
If you don't know anything about those sites, they are marketplaces where artists can upload their art and sell them as posters, mugs, or t-shirts. These days, art can be sold as pillows, blankets, skirts and even leggings! All three sites are selling art as legging and I am restraining myself from buying them. I recently received an email that Redbubble was selling hardcover journals and I had to buy some to test them out.
