I've had my 50 mm lens for almost a year now and I love it. For a while I was wondering what should be my next piece of equipment. My Nikon D60 came with a 18-55mm lens, I bought a Nikon SB-400 speed light a little over a year ago, I got the 50 as a present and I just bought a tripod a few weeks ago. I wanted a new lens but I didn't know what I should get. See, my camera doesn't have auto focus and if I buy a lens with auto focus, it's usually super expensive. On top of that there are so many different types of lens. I didn't really know which one was right for my specific camera until I found out about this website:

All you do is just tell it what camera you have, your price range and what type of photo you are trying to achieve. It gives you a choice of lenses in your price range and explains each feature in terms anyone can understand. It even tells you where you can buy the lens. It suggested my next lens should be the Nikon Nikkor AF-S 35mm f/1.8G DX. Funny thing is that was the lens was leaning toward getting. It's a really helpful site and you should check it out.
